1. Lifting operations can only be carried out when all outriggers are fully supported on a flat and firm ground. If the ground does not meet the requirements of the relevant regulations, sufficient land preparation work should be carried out in advance, and the operation can only be performed after confirming that it is safe and qualified.

2. In case of special (soft or inclined) ground, the outrigger plate or steel plate of the crane that is suitable for the ground must be used under the outrigger plate to make it flat, and ensure that it is firm and must not sink during the lifting operation.

3. When using the crane outrigger pad, the crane outrigger pad must have a solid structure that can fully withstand the pressure of the outrigger. If a steel plate is placed under the outrigger plate, a thick steel plate with small deformation should be used.

4. When leveling the outriggers, keep all tires off the ground to avoid unstable support or damage to tires and bridge bolts during lifting operations.
